The Center for Public Leadership at Harvard Kennedy School, working in association with The Ken Blanchard Companies, distilled these presidential leadership competencies from presidential scholarship and leadership development thinking.
We are asking you, as a learning and training colleague, to review and rate these competencies, as critical for the next President of the United States.
DIRECTIONS:
From the following list of presidential leadership competencies, please choose the EIGHT that are most essential for the next president to possess.
Lead change by crafting and communicating an inspiring vision
Respond flexibly to changing conditions
Use sound judgment to respond decisively to crises
