"Great Learning Starts with Innovative Learning Design Elliott Masie.
Learning Design LAB & Seminar will provide an in-depth
and hands-on exploration of the changing world of design and
development. You will dive into Learning Principles and Design Models,
Learning Evaluation Models, Learning Delivery Strategies, Applications
for Learning Technologies and more! This content is key, whether you
are a new designer, experienced in learning, or play a
managerial/executive role in your organization.
Through hands-on lab experience with various tools and technologies,
targeted presentations, exercises, interactive scenarios and
problem-based learning, participants will gain a foundational knowledge
of major Learning concepts to broaden their understanding of the
Learning and Development field:

- How can we blend traditional Learning Design models (eg. ADDIE) with newer approaches to design and development?

- When Design is Outsourced: Managing Vendor and Supplier Quality.
- What methods of Content Delivery are right for our learners? Lets talk about Context, Styles, Globalization and Roles.
- From Content Design to Delivery to Metrics: a look at learning technologies and standards.
- What design models apply to Formal (Classroom and eLearning) vs. Informal (MySpace and Blogs) Learning?
- Learning Design for Managers: Even if you dont design Learning yourself, how can you manage these processes?
- The Future of Design: Collaborative, Social, Reusable and Dynamically Updated.
